i have to co-sign this. i cannot call myself an eminem fan, but he has really been killing it lately. he has overshadowed everyone with whom he rhymes lately. i instantly forgot about black thought and black dante (wtf does that mean?) once he opened his mouth. he is the only one who matters (in my opinion) on that “forever” song. he just seems so focused, and not about all of that bullsh*t right now. go em’ go!

@STaTs
Stop making broad statements. How the fuck is Eminem the best lyricist alive. He’s not.

Black Thought devoured (meaning to destroy or demolish) it.

Mos Def did his thing too.

Looks like Slim Gravy (Eminem aka Skittles) went back to really rhyming again. But it sounded like it wasn’t really a freestyle. Sounded like a pre-meditated written verse.

All of their rhymes were on point. Can’t say all of them sounded like freestyles, but at least you can tell there was thought put behind the composition. I favor emcees that have good content. All three of these dudes killed it. But it’s a shame that Black Thought and Mos still have yet to advance past much more than critical acclaim. But I’m glad everybody’s eatin’.

No one was spitting off the dome. Every freestyle was written, except KRS one who I suspect started to freestyle at the very end at least.

Damn…They ALL killed it. I’ll say this though…Eminem’s flow is too fucking sick for anyone to touch right now. The Warning, Forever, now this. Looks like Slim is back to the top of his game.

There really ARE so many idiots who can’t tell the difference between a freestyle or a written. All the verses were written (except KRS’s). It doesn’t mean they were wack tho

Black Thought’s verse is the longest, the dopest, most rhymy (if there is such a word)… It gave me goose bumps. The other MCs were also great, check Mos’ reaction to Black’s rhymes… He know that man from Illadelph killed him on this one!

All 3 of these verses is better than anything else you’ve heard this year (Exhibit C excluded). DO NOT FRONT on any of the 3. Yes Em was ridiculous with it, but listen to Mos’ verse again. That is the single dopest verse I’ve heard about Brooklyn within the last 5 years. You better dissect those rhymes and realize that he’s talking about Michael Jordan, Biggie, Denzel Washington, Al Capone, etc… Insane!!!

I cannot wait for Exhibit E to get released!!!!!!!!! If it truly exists and if they decide to release this year.

to everyone claiming em is the greatest alive. i dare you to pay money (yes, actual currency!) for the relapse cd-listen to it track4track and come back and say that again. em is dope–but hell, mos black on both sides and roots things fall apart just crush that album. (maybe it’s not a fair comparison)–but saying any rapper is the greatest alive is a dumb comment–when as we all know, or at least are finding out—there are so many talented rappers we have never heard of out there. so please stop tossing that comment around without including “in my opinion…”.

peace

Fuck that white boy.

To me he doesn’t deserve for me to type his name. So I’m just going to call him white boy.

Saying that white boy is the greatest rapper alive is an insult to every other rapper that made a contribution to this culture called Hip Hop. Those who came before and after.

It’s an insulting to me. Saying that shit is equivalent to a cracker calling me a nigger to my face.

Stop saying that shit. The greatest he’s not.

Like I said before his whole shit was trumped up by the media with hype and controversy. Another white man’s (the devil) ploy to white wash Hip-Hop.

White boy last four albums was garbage. Trash. Again. The greatest he’s not.

Another person calls that white boy the greatest, I’m stomping a mud hole in their ass.

Em is a dope emcee. Em is not the best lyricist alive though. I would’ve called him the best freestyle emcee alive had it not been for that fateful night vs. Rhymefest where he lost. Name Exluded needs a hug. Mos…as usual killed it in the cypher as did Black. JayELECT EXHIBIT C…check that for some hot lyrics! Too much talent out there to call any one the best. Get your minds right. Long live REAL HIP HOP!!!!
