    c.o.s freshness…

  6. Alexis says:

I think this track would be fresher without the homophobia. We have enough of that in small towns..don’t you think?

  7. ish says:

Alexis, you are absolutely correct. You did miss the entire point of the song. The problem with this world is the feeling that everyone is supposed to walk these eggshells called “political correctness”. If you knew even one of us, you’d have no worries at all about any of our phobias. You’d even say we have a lil Kanye in us. Rest assured Texas ain’t all bad.

I know where you’re coming from Alexis. It was even a thought when I wrote the song but it’s alright. The song is generally more about people gossiping and saying that your something that you’re not. I believe that you’re more concerned with the prescribed vernacular as opposed to the idea. Thanks for the comment though. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to speak your mind.

i already know what some of you will say, yes, 2 years later i’m posting on this….i heard a version of this song a while ago where the beat featured a trumpet and an organ. anyone know what i’m talking about? i’m willing to pay for a copy of it……hopefully posting here isnt a lost cause…i been on the search for this song for about a year when my ipod got stolen….hoping to get a response, if not, no offense will be taken… 2 years is a long time…
