Jay’s lyrical ability sets him apart. This vid isn’t that great, personally not a fan of that section of Act I, but his flow is ridiculous on so many other tracks (Spark it Up, Dealing). Dude hasn’t even put out an LP so the fact that he already has such quality shit is saying something.

Other than having a great ear for beats (obviously, not shown above), I don’t get the Jay Electronica love. He seems to lack charisma…doesn’t have a unique voice. I just don’t get it.
