What can you say about Raekwon.  For me, Raekwon was always my favorite Wu-Tang member.  Wu-Tang always had great writers, however, flow has always been important to me.  There has always been something about how Rae constructs his bars that has always stood out to me.

My favorite albums from Rae have been both versions of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.  Raekwon’s new album “The Wild” is definitely in the tradition of my favorite Raekwon albums.

“This is What It Comes Too” definitely sets the tone for the album.  I’ve never heard of the producer Xtreme, but he laced Raekwon.  Marvin, featuring CeeLo Green, is Raekwon’s take on the life of Marvin Gaye.  Excellent writing combined with lush production makes this one of Raekwon’s better albums, but I’ll let you guys be the judge.

Big shouts to Raekwon, Ice H20 and the good folks at Empire Distribution for pushing out another great record!

Top Tracks: Marvin, This Is What It Comes Too, Purple Brick Road and Crown Of Thorns
