Fresh off the heels of their contributions to the collaborative effort of Laura Mvula Chopped., Houston based vocal trio Six Minutes ’til Sunrise are here with their 3 song maxi-single The Dawning, produced entirely by Kay & Luke (The Foundation).
Singers Tanika Keys, Ron John, and Shawn Taylor initially met at a Houston Revue Show 3 years ago, and have since been making their rounds performing on stages all over Houston. At the tail end of 2014, Kay enlisted them to record vocals on the instrumental album he and Luke were producing, which lead to their working on original songs for a future project. 3 of those tracks are present here.
